The annual 67th Grammys happened this Sunday night and ooh were they something!

Beyoncé ran herself to it and took home not only the pterodactyl (Jay-Z) but also the award for Best Country Album and Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter, both of which caused a lot of discourse among people.

Some of it was positive, as her winning Album of the Year makes her only the second Black woman to win the award, with Lauryn Hill first winning in 1999.

Haters were saying that Billie Eilish should have won over Beyoncé for Album of the Year. Many added that Cowboy Carter isn’t even country!

Kendrick Lamar won five awards for Not Like Us, including the main categories of Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

While Lamar’s wins were supported, many were arguing that a lot of artists were snubbed this year. Most people (online) shared that they think that Taylor Swift should have won at least an award and even more people believe that Billie Eilish had one of the best albums of the year, despite her ending her night with no wins in any category.

In non-music news, Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori popped out to attend, but both were kicked out. While the reason is unknown, most are assuming that it was because Censori was dressed in a very see-through outfit! There are also rumors that they were not even invited in the first place.

For people who were invited, the Grammys was a fantastic way to start out February. The Oscars are next!
