Anna Scott has always been fascinated by what it would be like to live a regular life and that’s exactly what William Thacker gives her. But the paparazzi has other plans and is constantly getting in the way of this love story. This Fall-set movie is the perfect romcom to watch on your couch on a rainy day.
La La Land
This story is all about how as seasons change, their love shifts. The movie’s vibrant colors provide a warm and cozy view experience, perfect for a chilly autumn evening. This romcom is also a musical, so it will make you want to get up and dance mid-movie. This Academy Award-winning movie is about Mia, who is an actress struggling in LA to start her career, and Sebastian, a jazz enthusiast trying to start his own jazz bar. They go through many seasons together and we see the ups and downs of their relationship. After they give up on their relationship, they meet 10 years later in Sebastian’s jazz bar. But now Mia has a family and has officially moved on.
A Walk to Remember
This movie will never fail to make you cry. And if you don’t cry…then you are simply heartless. This love story is based in the 50s, an oldy, but still good! When 2 polar opposite high school students, Jamie and London, fall in love, there are 2 problems: London is the local bad boy and Jamie’s is the sweet, pastor’s daughter kinda girl. This story comes to an end after we find out Jamie has Leukemia. This is a good fall movie to cozy up and watch, but don’t forget a jumbo box of tissues!
You’ve Got Mail
This is a romantic comedy with 2 bookstore owners who anonymously meet in a chat room online. Kathleen is the owner of a small, independent book store, while Joe is the owner of a large chain one. They share a love over emails, but are rivals in real life. When Joe finds out this harsh truth, he tries to find his way to win Kathleen over in real life. This movie gives the warm cozy feeling you need on a chilly Fall day.
10 Things I Hate About You
This romcom is full of laughs. Most of the story is based in Fall and gives the vibe of it, too. We follow 2 relationships with polar opposite people in it. Bianca is a younger sister who wants to date, while Kat is the older sister who isn’t interested at all. Their strict dad says that if Kat gets a boyfriend, then Bianca can get one, too. Bianca is popular, very girly and outgoing while Kat is antisocial and rebellious. But when the new student Cameron sees Bianca, he automatically creates a plan to date her after finding out her dad’s rule. This causes drama, but in the end works out for the best.
