Saturday Night Fever: Get ready to groove

Get ready to groove! Student Senate is thrilled to announce the annual homecoming dance, themed “Saturday Night Fever,” in the small gym next Saturday night. The night will be disco-themed with matching decorations.

“We had a lot of ideas for this year but intimately decided on doing a disco theme since it hasn’t really been done before. Students can take a step back and really get into the groove on the dance floor. Tap into all their dance moves with their peers,” said senior and class officer Franklina Kabu.

Missing the night would be unfortunate as it is seen as one of the most enjoyable nights of high school.

“You want to be able to create memories and that includes stepping out of your comfort zone and really taking in the atmosphere around you. Homecoming has always been the start to a great high school year,” added Kabu.

Expressing yourself is what this night is all about, just coming out and having fun will make this night the best.

“I think this theme is all about expressing yourself with a creative funky character, rather than the usual. As always, we’ll have good music and some good vibes,” said senior and class rep Noah Hamilton.

Clearly, this night will not be one to miss so bring your best spirit and see you on the dance floor!
