Civic Engagement Club spreads positivity with Post-It notes
At the beginning of the semester, seniors Madeline Garbacz and Myra Stevens started the Civic Engagement Club. To kick off finals week, they, with the help of teachers Laura Koritz and Rachel Sassine, covered the lockers with post-it notes containing encouraging messages.
Senior Lauren Bell was in awe of all the positive notes across the lockers. “Some of the notes on the lockers almost made me cry,” she said.
Koritz first tested out the post-it note idea two years ago. Due to the positive feedback, they decided to bring it back to end this year.
