After the Chicago Bears second year quarterback Mitch Trubisky threw for 354 yards and 6 touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Bears fans who have been divided on Trubisky since the Bears moved up one spot to draft him second overall have been changing their minds.

Dreyden Shelton, sophomore Bears fan believes this is “…because they made the offense around him.” Brendan Baker agrees that the Chicago offense is made for Trubisky, and adds that Trubisky “will develop in Chicago.”

Kobe Green, senior, thinks it has more to do with other personnel changes: “He has real weapons this year, where he didn’t last year.”

The Bears sit at 3-1 on top of the NFC North, though some fans still believe this is more due to the addition of Khalil Mack than Trubisky.

Even so, fans still seem hopeful that Trubisky can be the future that their team needs. The Bears are hoping to move to 4-1 versus the Miami Dolphins this Sunday after a bye week which saw the Bears still on top of the NFC North after the Green Bay Packers lost to the Detroit Lion  and the Minnesota Vikings beat the Philadelphia Eagles.
