Donald Sterling Agrees to Sell Clippers
Donald Sterling has agreed to sell the Clippers. After his racist remarks about Magic Johnson and his expulsion from the NBA, Sterling has surrendered the Clippers to his wife, for her to sell.
It all started on April 25, when recordings of Sterling talking to a friend were released. The recordings showed a racist Sterling who insulted Magic Johnson as he complained about his friend posting pictures on instagram with him. He was then banned for life from the NBA, on April 29 and pushed to sell the team.
Finally, on May 23, Donald authorized his wife to sell the Clippers. Rumors about her wanting to fight to keep her share of the team are quickly diminishing with new information that she changed her mind for unknown reasons. It is now known that she will be selling it “voluntarily.”
Miami Heat player, Lebron James, believes there is no room for Sterling in the NBA and that the team been sold is the best thing and should be imminent according to ESPN.
