Club Chat: UHS Dance Collective

Welcome back to Club Chat!

This week’s featured club is the UHS Dance Collective.

The UHS Dance Collective is sponsored by Bianca Aguirre, UHS math teacher, who says that her prior experience in lyrical and contemporary dance inspired her to create this club.

Now, at this point you may be wondering “what’s the difference between you guys and the Royal Diamonds Step and Dance team?”

I’m glad you asked! The step and dance team primarily focuses on hip hop and majorette dancing, while the dance collective focuses more toward lyrical contemporary due to Aguirre’s prior experience in it.

The UHS Dance Collective isn’t currently active, however, if you’re interested in a lesson or two, feel free to contact Aguirre and be on the lookout for flyers around the school.
