Senior Assassin: Slaying Senior Year
If you’re a senior, make sure you’re watching your back!
This year is the first Senior Assassin game and multiple students in the senior class have joined.
Senior Assassin is like a big water gun fight amongst the senior class.
Each week, participating seniors are given a fellow senior as a target and are given a week to “eliminate” their target by shooting them with a water gun. There are rules in place to protect the school environment, but off campus is fair game!
People have been wondering who coordinated all of this?
Well, Senior Phia Marino was the one who made the page, helped start the games, and created all the fun!
“I have wanted to do this game for awhile and one of my closest friends that goes to a different school is playing it, so I thought ‘well, why don’t I start it?’” said Marino.
The senior students who have participated in these games definitely believe that this has made their time left in school more enjoyable.
“I thought it’d be fun and add some excitement to the school,” said Maggi Booth-Hodges.
Other seniors enjoyed the competitive side and the challenges that come with these games.
“I wanted to join because I’m pretty competitive and I thought it would be fun,” said player Vic Fragoso.
So far, multiple students have gotten eliminated from the game. Player Fragoso was one of the first players to eliminate her target, and it wasn’t a stranger!
“I’ve killed only one person so far, and it was my frenemy Juan Rodrigez,” they laughed.
If you have not joined the games yet, don’t worry, there might be more chances to enjoy the fun!
“I’m hoping to do another one before the school year ends for a chance for other seniors to join,” said Marino. The ultimate goal is that the games take off and become an annual tradition.
Enjoy the games, Seniors, and remember…Watch your back!
