Sports better now or then?
For a lot of people middle school sports are all about having fun and having something to do after school. So, imagine having the chance to go back in time to the good old middle school years to play sports. Would you?

Though he admits, “I would go back to 6th grade, so I wouldn’t be fat and still be really good at basketball.”
Junior Carlos Lezama-Miles said he likes high school more. “It isn’t necessarily because of the sport but because of the relationships I’ve made and the family I’ve built,” he said.
That being said, he would go back to middle school because “…I lost my main/best year of middle school track due to covid.” Lezama-Miles is sure that if he had been able to participate that season, he would have made it to state.
Junior Seth Pierson explains that he likes sport more now because “it’s more interactive, prepares me more for the future, [and] the coaches give you ground here. And I wouldn’t [go back] because it’s not the same.”
