Remarkable season comes to an end
In last night’s sectional semi-final game, the Tigers saw their remarkable season come to an end with their devastating (70-53) loss to the Lincoln Railspliters. Emotions filled the locker room as both players and coaches reflected on how great the journey has been this year.
They’ve done what no other team has done since 1989: win a regional title in Boys Basketball. At their final regional game, the Tigers found themselves down one with under 30 seconds left, but came out ahead with a heroic shot by sophomore guard Jermale Young Jr. Some are claiming this shot will be legendary forever. Overall, this year’s team will go down as one of the best teams since 1989.
