Tiger offense falls to Danville Vikings
The Vikings were led by strong performances from senior Sean Houpt and sophmore Nathaneal Hoskins, who both finished the game with a double- double and over 20 points each.
With a dominant first half from the Vikings, the Tigers found themselves down 45-30.  But the Tigers did not back down with a back-and-forth second quarter and an explosive comeback in the third, chipping the Viking’s lead to five in the fourth quarter with 4:23 left on the clock.
Behind a 17-7 run and two huge three-pointers made by sophomore Devin Miles, the Vikings sealed their victory.
For the Tigers, sophomore Jermale Young, Jr. finished with 20 points and senior Payton Sheen finished with 18.
The varsity Tigers will face off next against the Raiders at Bloomington High School Friday at 7:30 p.m.
