Habitat winter semi-formal: A night in Paris

A night in Paris is an evening you’ll never forget with the Habitat for Humanity winter dance!

On Saturday January 26th, the Habitat for Humanity club is hosting their annual winter formal. Tickets, costing $10, will be sold the week of the dance, Tuesday the 22nd through Thursday 24th during all lunch hours.

This year, Habitat is putting a twist on the winter dance. When you purchase a ticket, you are able to suggest a song of your choice.

“[The dance committee] wanted to make sure everyone had a song they knew at the dance so it would be more fun for the attendees,” Olivia Rosenstein, junior and co-organizer of the dance said.

The Winter dance will be a night of good friends, good music, and best of all, good food! Habitat for Humanity club members will strive to create delicious food to ensure the dance will be a night to remember.

Rosenstein believes “This dance will be fun because it’s a good way to spend time with friends in a way [she] wouldn’t normally do.”

Funds raised by the dance will go to the Habitat for Humanity club towards building houses for people in need.
