Clemson victory good for college football
This could be one of the best things to happen for college football from a business standpoint as it could get people more excited about college football: one team dominating everything can get stale. People who are not fans of Alabama complain that it seems as if they always win, so they were happy to see Clemson blow them out and hold them scoreless in the second half.
The Clemson Tigers showed that Alabama is not unbeatable and that they are on the same level: another top-tier team.
Clemson’s victory also gives college football a new face in Trevor Lawrence and a new coach on the level of Alabama coach Nick Saban in Clemson’s Dabo Swinney.This could lead to more interest in college football in seeing Dabo vs Saban and at least one more year of Clemson”s Trevor Lawrence vs Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, who both seem like they will be first round draft picks one day.
Unless you’re a fan of the Tide, Clemson’s victory has a ton of upside.
