“Fresh Meat”

For many of the freshman, the environment of UHS is what stands out the most as they begin their time in high school.

One of the biggest changes is the amount of people.

Laila Beckham says,“I like SOME of the people, it’s just a little messy.”

Emily Sanders agrees with Beckham by saying, “Its a lot more different, it’s a lot more hectic.”

Another change is the work.

Cameron Griffin and Jordan Tatum agree “It’s definitely a change from middle school, the work is out of control.”

Now it is certain things that the “Fresh meat” like in high school so far.

You have more freedom in high school”, says Griffin.

Advantages like, It’s more fun and I got separated from people I dont like and it’s a lot less drama”, says Sanders.

Some advice from somebody who made it through freshman year.

Yes, it’s hard to adapt to something new but it’s all going to help you in your future, but “Fresh Meat, just stay focused.
