Trump Tower Fire Brief
On Monday around 7 am, January 8th, a small electrical fire started in the Trump Tower’s heating and air conditioning vents. It was concentrated in the cooling tower on the roof, causing smoke to rise into the air.
Two civilians were injured trying to put out the fire, and a firefighter was injured by falling debris. All three received non-life threatening injuries and are reported fine.
The fire was put out within an hour, and firefighters said it was a “quick and easy routine.” No one was evacuated.
