NYC Doctor Tests Positive for Ebola
NYC Doctor Craig Spencer has tested positive for Ebola in the wake of recently returning from Guinea, where he was helping aid Ebola victims there.
As of Oct. 23, Spencer is still being held in isolation at Bellvue Hospital, after being taken there due to high fever and gastrointestinal symptoms.
Spencer is now the fourth Ebola diagnosis in the United States. His fiancée, and two of his friends that he had been in close contact with since his return, have been placed in quarantine as of right now.
Media swarms have since gathered around Spencers apartment building, and New Yorkers are not calm about this to say the least.
This is the biggest outbreak of Ebola in history, as reported by the Washington Post.
Obama has promised additional care for Spencer.
