Universal Studios to Open New Area in Park

Theme parks around the nation have been talking about making innovations to their parks. Many new coasters and rides are being made and put into these parks. They are making rides that are suitable for kids but also thrilling to adults. This makes the parks more for families and not just one or the other.

In Orlando Fl, at Universal Studios is opening a new area for new Harry Potter-themed area will be added and it will be called, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Diagon Alley this summer. The center piece for the area will be a ride called Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.

This park will be a separate park and to get into both Potter worlds you will have to buy two park tickets to visit both parks. There will be ways to travel between them though. On the train through the two parks you will be able to see characters and magical creatures from the books. Here at Universal studios they have also opened new restaurants.

New characters have also been added, such as the characters from frozen. These new characters have up to a four hour wait.

In California, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with open its newest thrill ride called the Undertow. SeaWorld has redone its entrance and now has coral reefs, waves and touch pools for kids.

In the MidWest, at Chicago Great America there is a new wooden roller coaster that will end up being the fastest roller coaster, with the tallest and steepest drop.
