The multinational tech giant, Google has bought nest labs for a whooping $3.2 billion in cash. Nest is a company that specializes in home-automated tech. The devices they currently have on the market are a Wi-Fi enabled “smart” thermostat and an innovative smoke detector that sends notifications straight to your smartphone.

Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Greg Hall said ” I believe it’s a good purchase, now Google can keep pushing that company forward and make it better.”

Now In order to use a nest product, you have to have a Google+ account.

Some people say that Google is trying to control every aspect of our lives now that they have even more of their technology in our home and have our exact location, and if they create a surveillance system that would be very controversial.

As smart home devices become a common trend and smart cameras being already In The market don’t be surprised if Nest release a camera we will just have to wait and see?
