City of Atlanta Struggles After Recent Winter Storm
Recently, Atlanta continued to suffer from this year’s winter storm. The storm has stranded millions in Atlanta as well as the Deep South and is also responsible for 13 deaths as of January 29th. More than six states have declared a state of emergency and are receiving assistance from the U.S. National Guard.
As the storm lingers, and emotions rise many have “criticized” the weather channels forecasting according to USA Today. Though they less than three inches, this was enough to bring the city to a halt.

Many students have been left stranded in schools, as well as in cars. Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, has assured the people of his city that adequate help is being given, although many more continue to be stranded.
As the days go on and with more snow in the weather forecast, Gov. Nathan Neal may face negative criticism on his handling of the Snowstorm in Atlanta.
