UHS Mourns the Loss of A Student
UHS Sophomore, Angelica Leti, says “I’ve been friends with her since third grade,”
Nancy was an amazing artist; she made her name known online throughout the whole world. Everyone loved her.
UHS Physical Education teacher, Amy Boscolo, says “Nancy was a very quiet and sweet young girl. Just watching her walk by and saying hi always made me smile. She would peek out from under her hair and say hello as quiet as she could. I would laugh every time… She was my Eeyore…,”
Leti says “It has been really hard to keep up with school work. People coming up and asking questions about her and what happened is also really hard for me to deal with.”
Rachel Moyer, a UHS English teacher says “Nancy rarely spoke in class, but she we had strong, important relationships with many of her classmates. She and I had meaningful conversations that will stay with me. She wrote a beautiful poem before she passed entitled “Where I’m From” The poem employs rich description that expressed how proud Nancy was of her heritage and family. She was a lovely person, an artist, a deep thinker,”
After the Homecoming parade on Friday, October 11th at tailgreat the high school will be having a balloon release in the memory of Jared, who had passed away over the summer and for Nancy.
If you need someone to talk to you can go to the high school counselors.
