Paul George Re-signs with the Pacers
Paul George, the Indiana Pacers’ shooting guard, is re-signing with the Pacers. Last Thursday, he closed the deal and signed the contract.
Keith Lee, junior, thinks that George is on a good team.
Michael Terregah, senior, said, “I think it’s a great thing. The Pacers are going to win a lot more now”.
Paul George will be with the Pacers for another five years, including this year. Currently he is making $80 million. If his performance increases next season, he could be making somewhere between $90 million and $100 million.
Nick Romito, junior, says he thinks that the Pacers can, “challenge the heat in the Eastern Conference. The team offered him (George) a lucrative contract”.
Paul George grew up in a family of five, including himself. He had two older sisters; one played basketball and the other played volleyball. The whole family was quite talented at sports. As a child in his free time, George would play one-on-one with his older sister.
Also, in his spare time, George loves to listen to music, spend time with friends and family, go bowling and play video games. He went to Pete Knight High School before attending Fresno State for college.
George made his first appearance in the All-Star Game and achieved the award of NBA’s Most Improved Player last year.
Djogi Bumba, junior, who thinks that George stayed on the right team, said, “…they (the Pacers) have consistently improved and made the playoffs. They make a lot of noise in the post season even with the young talent”.
