David Beckham’s Retirement
David Beckham, as you may or may not know, was an amazing soccer player. He recently retired from soccer at age 38. His soccer career was anything but mediocre – in fact, it was quite amazing.
He signed his first professional contract to Old Trafford in 1993, played for Manchester United in 1994, got his infamous red card during the World Cup in 1998, winning an MLS Cup with the L.A. Galaxy, and much more. The amazing Beckham had a career to match his talent.
It was reported that he said that the reason for his retirement was “to finish my career playing at the highest level.”
Beckham was more than just a soccer player – he was, and is, also a family man. He has four children (if I can’t have David Beckham, I want Brooklyn), and is married to Victoria Beckham. He is a model for H&M body wear, and is looked up to by kids around the world.
Beckham’s hair is always perfect, and his eyes have the ability to transfer you into another world. Beckham is the epitome of beauty. His accent bears the sound of beautiful angels.
When I asked Freshman Maritza Rodriguez what her opinion of Beckham was, she said, “He is attractive.”
So, I guess I’m not the only one who sees all his beauty when I look at him. Amazingly, his character matches up with his good looks. It was reported that he said, “I also want to thank my fans who have all supported me and given me the strength to succeed.”
Your welcome, David Beckham. A man like you deserves nothing more than success. When Beckham played for PSG, he gave his entire salary to charity (that’s $3 million). How can you not love David Beckham? The man is amazing at soccer, he has a family, is beautiful, and gives to charity. He’s pretty much perfect. In the end, Beckham is worth more than his paycheck, and, even though he has retired, he will remain one of soccer’s best for all time.
