Crystal Lake Pool

As many knows, the new Crystal Lake Pool opened this summer. There were a lot of teens looking for jobs, and this was a really good place for them to work. There are quite a few attending UHS and working there, and it is glad to be working with all these people.

There are multiple jobs that can be done there as an employee. They include a Customer Service Representative ( CSR ), cashier, or a lifeguard.

Carrie Belcher, who does all of these things, loves her job. “I like being a cashier because it’s’ easy and there is most of the time people to talk inside of there.”

A lot of the lifeguards said that they like working here because they get to tan and they feel like they have another little family here.

The patrons felt as if Crystal Lake was better than Sholem.

“The pool is a lot more fun than Sholem! More activities for the kids and a nice sand area.” Said Lisa O’Bryan

Leo Gomez said that the lifeguards were well trained and attentive to patrons. He thought the customer service he received was above his expectations.

The patrons thought that the facility was very clean.

Belcher said that most of the time the patrons are respectful, but when something happens like the pool has to close for a while they can get irritated and snippy. Reasons for closures include storms or low attendance.

The pool is very fun and a great place to have a birthday party for your child, or have a great family day at the pool.
