In Memory of Reesa Burgstorm
Reesa Burgstrom was a wife, daughter, mother, friend and many other things. One thing Reesa was, was strong. She had a heart of an angle. She cared about how everyone else was doing before she bothered to realize how she felt. She was so amazing.
Reesa was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer which turned into stage four breast cancer. She fought and fought with everything she could. She soon began to lose memory of what day it was. The doctor had given to weeks, and she peacefully went in her sleep. She is in a better place now and is waiting for all of us to reunite. She is still with all of us so very deeply. Everyone that knew her she had touched in some way. Whether it was with every smile she put on your face, every laugh that came out of her mouth, or every time and second we got with her. Cindy Russell, family friend, said, “I admired her for how brave and strong she was. Anytime she had to put on a smile so people and mainly her kids didn’t have to see how much pain she was in that’s exactly what she did.”
Every chance she got with her girls she made the best out of it. Reesa never cared how badly she felt she still when to the water parks with them and made snow mans. Reesa never let cancer take over her life it was just a new thing about her that everyone dealt with. Reesa was just a mother figure to everyone, that’s just how her personality was. She wanted you to strive for every dream you had and to never give up, because she wasn’t giving up either.
Reesa is missed and very much loved. We know she is looking upon us every day and seeing our smiles. Knowing every memory we have with or of her is a memory that will never be forgotten. She touched absolutely everyone she knew. With her wild spirit and want to make everyone happy over herself touches my heart more than anything.
