David Beckham Retires From Soccer
With two decades of playing the most beautiful game in the world, David Beckham announces his retirement from soccer today. After playing with many of the world’s largest clubs, like Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Paris St Germain, and captaining the England national soccer team, Beckham will retire and move on from soccer.
One thing Beckham will do after retiring is become an ambassador for Chinese soccer, and help get it to become more noticed and popular. He will also work around the world with many organizations like the one in China.
During his soccer career, Beckham has done so much, such as play over 400 games, win 10 league championships, and participate in three world cups. He also pulled many upsets in soccer history.
There is no doubt that there might not be another soccer like Beckham, having to be one of the most well rounded players for about 20 years. He will be truly missed, and forever remembered as one of the best.
