Big Lottery Win in New Jersey
Breaking news from NBC news. For those adults who play the exciting lottery; sorry. In New Jersey the lucky winner, Pedro Quezada was recognized on Tuesday, March 26 at the New Jersey lottery headquarters.
The 44-year-old Dominican immigrant was visiting a local liquor store when he bought the winning ticket that according to the Daily News “will change his life but not his heart.” After realizing that he won he went back home and broke the news to his family. Later on, Quezada went and publicized his win while collecting his prize.
With all this money Pedro Quezada plans on expanding his business that for so many years he worked on, and also buying a new car. Urbana High school Sophomore, Miguel Lucio says, “it’s always great to see someone win the lottery. Especially this one, I really like the guys (Pedro Quezada) attitude towards life and how he seeks to spend the money.” The Daily News adds says that lucky lottery winner Pedro Quezada, has just recently began to think on ways of spending his fortune.
Pedro Quezada also plans to help his family, and according to Fox News switch from his old car, which were his “feet,” and help his community, which has given so much to him.
The $338 million dollar winning ticket became the fourth largest in lottery history, which is still a lot compared to the $587.5 million dollar lottery won last year in November. Either way Pedro Quezada is very thankful for his fortunate outcome and still cannot believe that it’s happening to him.
