Tattoos Show Personal Side of Justin Bieber
“I’m aware of Justin’s tattoos because I usually see them online, in pictures and articles,” said Senior Elizabeth Kryzanski.
Bieber now has six tattoos, four of which he got this year alone. All of his tattoos have a certain meaning to him, and he got them all for a reason that is close to him.
The first tattoo Bieber ever got was a seagull on his hip, which is linked to a fable that is traditionally read in his family. The seagull in the fable is still “learning about life,” and the seagull on Bieber’s hip represents that he, too, is still learning about life at the young age of 18.
Bieber’s next tattoo is on the left side of his ribcage. It is a tattoo that he got with his dad that reads, “Jesus,” in Hebrew. Bieber and his dad got this tattoo in Israel in 2011.
Then, Bieber got a portrait of Jesus Christ’s face on the back of his left calf. It shows his faith and his commitment, as well as the power of prayer and of God. He got that tattoo in early 2012.
The next tattoo Bieber got inked on him is, “Believe,” on the middle of his left forearm. He got this tattoo on the day his album, “Believe,” hit stores and sold millions of copies. Bieber said the tattoo was in honor of the new album, which he calls “our album” when speaking to Beliebers.
Bieber’s next tattoo was on the middle of his right forearm. It’s a Japanese Kanji sign that means “music.”
“There is never a limit to how many [tattoos] you can get. It’s your body, and therefore your choice,” said Sophomore Reno Hines.
Bieber’s latest tattoo is a crown on his upper right chest. Bieber is unquestionably the Prince of Pop to many girls in the world. This crown represents Bieber’s undeniable success in music. Bieber is still keeping the true meaning of his tattoo under wraps. However, Beliebers may soon find out.
Bieber is a pretty unpredictable guy. Fans never know what’s coming next, although they’re bound to find out. But just how many tattoos will Bieber get?
