Austin Mahone’s Success
Junior Sierra Clegg said, “I’m really excited that he got signed because that means he will officially become really famous.”
Mahone tweets as many fans as he can per day. He does Ustreams, which are webcam programs similar to Skype, which he can have conversations with users. He has been doing concerts and radio interviews for a good six months.
Everyone calls Mahone, “the next Justin Bieber.” Most people disagree with this, saying that there is only one Austin Mahone, and only one Justin Bieber.
Sophmore Hanna Lafond-Hyman said, “I don’t think that Austin will be the next Justin Bieber. …He may become as famous as him, or maybe as close at him, but he will never be the next Justin. There is only one Justin.”
Mahone’s fan base is called “Mahomies.” Austin has over one million fans and he has only been singing for a little over two years. He always thanks his fans about how far he has come, and he doesn’t know where he would be if he didn’t have them.
Sophomore Nanami Gonzalez said, “I’m very excited that he has come as far as he has, also now that he is signed. He can now pursue his life of singing.”
There is never one day that Mahone goes without thanking his fans that he is where is right now. He is so thankful for them.
Mahone said in one of his tweets, “I wouldnt be where I am without you guys, I love you all so much <3”
Overall “Mahomies” are excited about Mahone becoming really famous. Now all they can do is wait and see how famous he gets.
