Looking up
Falling down
Climbing to the top only to get beat back down
Standing tall
Feeling small
On your feet, head hanging
The story of your life’s painting
Doing good, rising fast
Knocked back like a shotgun blast
As fast as you get up you fall back down
The ridicule has turned you into a clown
Pissed off, played out
The failure causing you to pout
This cloud of darkness can’t last, it won’t
Nobody’s listening, you should stop but you don’t
It’s good to know that you won’t stop, you can’t
Make sure your words are embedded like the roots of a plant
