Lil Wayne real name is Dwayne Michael Carter. He is 28yrs old and is from New Orleans Louisiana. He was born on November 27, 1982. He started rapping when he was eight years old and got better as years went on. When Wayne turned 11 he signed to Cash Money Records with the brothers Birdman and Soulja Slim. His first song was called Holly Grove. Every letter in the words Holly Grove represented something. When he turned 13 Wayne met his first love, Toya. They had a baby, but it did not stop him from getting involved in with drugs like crack and weed.
Wayne and his best friend Mac Mane were crack heads and didn’t even see life yet.
When Wayne turned 15 in 1999, he was finally on the big screen with former group members B.G, Manny Fresh, Juvenile, and Birdman. He was the youngest of them all but had some of the most talent at that time. They went on to go platinum on everything they put out. In 2004 Cash Money Records separated leaving Birdman and Wayne on their own. Once Wayne turned 18 he came out with the beginning of the Carter’s. When the Carter 2 came out Wayne was claimed to be the best rapper alive because of his mixtapes and also because he had some of the best punchlines and metaphors out at the time. Now Wayne is still claimed to be the best rapper alive and he is still the same person he’s been since he first came out. The only thing that changed is he got better and smarter at rapping.
Cassidy real name is Barry Adrian Reese. He is 27yrs old and is from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was born on July 7th 1982. During Cassidy’s child hood he started selling candy at school and was making quite a lot of money too. He said he was making 20 dollars a day especially when Halloween came around. When Cass turned 11 he started rapping. He was always trying to freestyle with and against somebody. Everyone was disliking him because of the way he rapped, he was too good to only be 11 years old. He was talking about guns and drugs and actually knew what he was talking about too. Cassidy’s first song was called The Hustla he was 12 years old and just recorded it at school in the bathroom. Cassidy friends started calling him the Hustla and his mom gave him the name The Problem because he always in trouble.
In 2002 Cassidy got signed to Full Surface with Swizz Beats off battle rapping. Everyday after school Cassidy would vs. grown men in rapping for money. This was 500-1000 dollars per battle. He battled former Philadelphia rapper Freeway for 200,000 dollars and won within two rounds. Swizz would put up all the money for Cassidy and give him half the money once he won. By 2005 Cassidy was known to be the best freestyle rapper in the world. Cassidy dropped out of school and was always in the studio.
In 2007 Cassidy’s 3rd album dropped and he finally went platinum. He was going to give up rap but people love seeing him rap against people. In 2008 Cassidy got into a car crash and was in the hospital for 2 months, he was in very bad critical condition. In 2009 he got sentenced to jail for murder, but it was self-defense. In 2010 Cassidy was crowned Mix tape King and was signed to basketball player Carmelo Anthony’s record label. His music was then everywhere, sport games, radio, and finally B.E.T. Cassidy still raps the same he just don’t have the kind of fame he needs for a rapper with that kind of talent.
