The People Around Us
The people around us and the people around them.
It makes no sense.
They flitter and flatter with screams and laughter.
Up and down the halls man,
Bouncing off the walls man,
Do these people understand the commotion that surrounds them?
Am I one of them? Do I laugh and scream?
Love and dream? I do all these things.
No one person can change the world, THAT is a lie.
Just get on your knees and look to the sky.
People here and people there do any of them stop for prayer?
They do. One looks at you and another stares,
Now they’re all on there knees for prayer,
One person can change the world It’s true.
Will that one person be you?
