New Twizted Album Review
The wicked duo is back and they are laying down their eighth studio album, fans of the Psychopathic Records artists, known as Juggalos and Juggalettes, have been waiting and waiting for this album to drop in stores. Halloween is right around the corner and Twiztid is packing the kids goodie bags with mind-boggling crazy tricks and freaky treats that will most likely have killer side-effects…and leave you completely hooked.

This album is totally different since the first album Mostasteless, released in 1997. Heartbroken And Homicidal shows a little bit of maturity that Twiztid has developed over the years. Mostasteless is a little on the carnal side and is also a little kiddy, but yet it still puts the “Psycho” in Psychopathic. In fact, Mostasteless was so wicked and off the charts that it was released two times and Twiztid even threw in a couple extra tracks that only the alternate version has in it’s tracklist. Mostasteless compared to Heartbroken And Homicidal…there has definitely been a lot of growth and meaning put into this album, and I don’t just mean “Juggalo Family” meaning.

I think from what I’ve heard and listened to of this album I think it is completely amazing…I don’t know what your take is but if you liked Twiztid’s older albums like Mostasteless or even 2008’s W.I.C.K.E.D. then you will love Heartbroken And Homicidal. I have been listening to Twiztid since one of my good friends introduced me to this wicked duo and I have been hooked ever since. Each track, whether it be plastered with comedy or spattered with emotions of rage to sadness, it holds a story behind it.
Twiztid has a dirty side and it can easily switch to rage filled verses that leave you cringing or sadness that will leave you dripping with realization or relation to the lyrics. This album’s title actually does have some actually meaning, although this album has some Juggalo family references, it is truly planted around heartbreak and the sorrow people try to kill.
I think each album that has been dropped by Twiztid has been brutal, wicked, life changing, and all about the “Juggalo Family.” Each album that hits the stands gets better and better with each track. Twiztid keeps the Psychopathic lyrics pulsing through this album and leaves you hitting repeat for days, this 14-track album keeps the idea of the Juggalo Family being the only thing till the end of the world. Twiztid is back in the game and they just went in wicked hard.
