Children’s Show Cast List Revealed

Parts have been cast, rehearsals have started and the Children’s Show is well on its way. Wednesday, January 6 Mr. Chew posted the results of the auditions, held shortly before winter break, and with less than a month until opening everyone in the drama program is hard at work. Every year the Urbana High Drama Club does a Children’s Show, with special during school performances that local elementary school and Urbana Middle School students attend on field trips. This year’s production is entitled Gold in the Bones. It’s a thrilling tale of pirates, ghosts, gold and the devil himself. The production is comprised of three short one act plays: Guests From Gibbet Island, Wolfert Webber (or Golden Dreams) and The Devil and Tom Walker. “It’s always rewarding putting on a performance kids enjoy,” says Junior Miranda McCarthy. “I look forward to this years play, I’m sure the kids will love it.”
