Halloween Costumes: A How-To

Well, it’s that time again: Halloween! Lots of people think Halloween is just for kids in elementary school and maybe middle school. But I know a lot of people in high school who go trick-or-treating, so clearly, anyone can go. Besides that, it’s also time to pick out a costume to wear. If you have no idea what to wear, or you just want to compare your favorite costume to someone else’s, here are a list of the top ten costumes for teen guys, and girls for 2009, according to Extremehalloween.com:

Boys:

Batman from The Dark Knight
The Joker
Indiana Jones
Jack Sparrow
Spiderman

Girls:

GI Gal
Sassy Cat
Red Riding Hood
Pirate Girl
Lady Cop

So some of these may be weird, but those were the top five costumes.

Now here is some input from other students:

Kurtisha Williams, senior, says “I like the witches costume because it kind of personifies me (in a good way).” Is this something you would like to be, if you’re a girl? Let’s look at it from a guy’s perspective.
“I would say a vampire, because you will [get to] have fangs and get to walk around in a cape,” says Jeffrey Hoskins.
Also, in a recent poll, about what someone’s favorite costume was, the movie/actors and Halloween monster won with both of them having five votes. So hopefully this helped too. And with that, good luck trick-or-treaters!
